By Arjun Ramanarayanan, IndiCar · Published 5 November 2026 · Market_insights
Reported Toyota waits run from 2-4 weeks for the Hyryder and Land Cruiser in some cities to as long as 1-6 months for the Hyryder in New Delhi. The Fortuner and top Innova Crysta variants wait up to 3 months.
The longest Toyota waits in the latest reports are for the Fortuner, Fortuner Legender and the top Innova Crysta variants, at up to 3 months. Waits run from 2-4 weeks for the Hyryder and Land Cruiser in some cities to 1-6 months for the Hyryder in New Delhi.
How current these figures are
Two reports supply the numbers here: a city-by-city survey of Toyota models and a separate report on the Innova Crysta and Fortuner. On the Fortuner they disagree.
Read every figure below as a guide to how Toyota's range compares, not as the wait you will get today. Where the two reports conflict, both figures are given.
Waiting periods by model
The table sets out the shortest and longest waits reported for each model, with the cities named where the report names them.
| Model | Shortest reported wait | Longest reported wait |
|---|---|---|
| Fortuner and Fortuner Legender | 1 month: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata | 3 months: Mumbai, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Patna |
| Innova Crysta | About 2 months: lower-spec variants | 3 months: GX+ and ZX |
| Hyryder | 2-4 weeks: Thane, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Indore | 1-6 months: New Delhi |
| Land Cruiser | 2-4 weeks: Thane, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Indore, Noida | 2-3 months: New Delhi |
| Hilux facelift | 1 month: most places | 1-3 months: New Delhi |
| Rumion | 1 month: most cities | 2 months: Pune, Jaipur, Surat |
| Glanza | 1 month: most cities | 1.2 months: Jaipur |
The Vellfire is quickest to arrive in Mumbai, at 1.5 months. The survey does not give a longest figure for it.
Fortuner and Fortuner Legender
The city survey puts the Fortuner at 1 month in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, and at 3 months in the four cities with the highest wait. The Fortuner Legender follows the same split: 1 month in those five cities and up to 3 months in the other four.
The second report says the Fortuner's wait has come down to a maximum of two months. It credits the shorter waits to Toyota Kirloskar Motor boosting SUV production.
Our view: with two reports pointing different ways, plan around 3 months if you are in one of the longer-wait cities. Treat anything shorter as a bonus.
Innova Crysta by variant
The Innova Crysta wait is reported at two to three months, down from five months in July. That is the clearest sign in these reports that Toyota's waits are easing.
The variant you pick decides where in that range you land:
- Lower-spec variants: about two months. These suit you if getting the car sooner matters more than the higher trim.
- GX+ (mid-spec): three months.
- ZX (fully equipped): three months. If you want the top trim, budget for the longer end of the range.
The same report says some dealerships may offer the Innova Crysta in under a month, depending on stock.
Hyryder, Glanza and Rumion
The Hyryder has the widest spread of any Toyota in these reports. It is quoted at 2-4 weeks in Thane, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Faridabad and Indore, and anywhere from 1 to 6 months in New Delhi.
The Glanza and Rumion are the most predictable. Both wait 1 month in most cities. The Glanza stretches to 1.2 months in Jaipur and the Rumion to 2 months in Pune, Jaipur and Surat.
If you are choosing between these three and timing matters, the Glanza has the narrowest reported range. That is a judgement on waiting time only. It does not weigh price, running costs or how each car suits your use.
Hilux, Land Cruiser and Vellfire
The Hilux facelift, launched recently, waits 1 month in most places. New Delhi is the exception at 1-3 months.
The Land Cruiser is quoted at 2-4 weeks in Thane, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Indore and Noida, against 2-3 months in New Delhi. The Vellfire's quickest reported wait is 1.5 months.
New Delhi shows up as the slowest city for the Hyryder, Land Cruiser and Hilux. The reports do not say why.
What the numbers mean for your booking
Your actual wait depends on stock in your city on the day you book, not on a citywide average. Because these figures are undated, the only number worth planning around is a confirmed delivery date for the exact variant and colour you want. IndiCar gives you that, along with stock status and a written price breakup, before you book.
