Tata Motors August 2026 Offers: Up to ₹3.35 Lakh Off Across the EV and ICE Lineup
By IndiCar · Published 2 August 2026 · Deals
A model-by-model breakdown of Tata Motors' August 2026 Discounts and Offers - cash discounts, exchange and scrappage bonuses, loyalty offers, and what actually stacks.
What's on offer this month
Tata Motors has rolled out its August 2026 discount and offers (valid 1st–31st August, Week 1 pricing) across both its ICE lineup and its EV sub-brand, Tata.ev. There's a lot of fine print, so here's the short version first: the EV range carries the biggest headline discounts (up to ₹3.35 lakh on the Curvv EV), while the petrol/diesel range gets smaller, steadier cash discounts topped up by exchange and loyalty bonuses.
One thing worth knowing before you read the tables: the "max offer" figure is a ceiling, not a guarantee. It only applies if you qualify for every layer stacked into it — trading in an old car, scrapping one through a registered facility, or already owning a Tata. Skip ahead to "What these offer types actually mean" if you want to know which part of that number you'll actually walk away with.
Tata.ev offers — Nexon EV, Tiago EV, Punch EV, Curvv EV, Harrier EV
| Model | Cash Discount | Exchange Bonus | Scrappage Bonus | Loyalty Bonus | Max Offer |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nexon EV (all variants) | ₹10,000 | ₹25,000 | ₹35,000 | — | ₹45,000 |
| Tiago EV LR XT | ₹70,000 + ₹50,000 Freedom Offer | ₹20,000 | ₹25,000 | — | ₹1,45,000 |
| Tiago EV LR XZ+ | ₹1,00,000 | ₹20,000 | ₹25,000 | — | ₹1,25,000 |
| Tiago EV MR (all) | ₹40,000 | ₹20,000 | ₹25,000 | — | ₹65,000 |
| Punch EV — LR variants | ₹1,10,000 | ₹30,000 | ₹35,000 | — | ₹1,45,000 |
| Punch EV — MR (excl. Smart) | ₹90,000 | ₹30,000 | ₹35,000 | — | ₹1,25,000 |
| Punch EV — Smart variants | ₹60,000 | ₹30,000 | ₹35,000 | — | ₹95,000 |
| Curvv EV (Creative trim) | ₹2,50,000 | ₹30,000 | ₹35,000 | — | ₹2,85,000 |
| Curvv EV (w/o X trim) | ₹3,00,000 | ₹30,000 | ₹35,000 | — | ₹3,35,000 |
| Curvv EV (X trim) | — | ₹30,000 | ₹35,000 | ₹30,000 (ICE→EV or EV→EV) | ₹65,000 |
| Harrier EV (Adventure) | ₹75,000 Freedom Offer | ₹50,000 | ₹75,000 | ₹50,000–1,00,000 | ₹2,50,000 |
| Harrier EV (Fearless/Empowered) | ₹1,00,000 Freedom Offer | ₹50,000 | ₹75,000 | ₹50,000–1,00,000 | ₹2,75,000 |
The Curvv EV numbers are the sharpest cut in the entire lineup this month — a flat ₹2.5–3 lakh cash discount before you've even talked exchange or scrappage. That's a strong signal Tata is clearing Curvv EV stock hard in August.

| Tiago Petrol (excl. XE) | ₹15,000 + ₹5,000 Freedom | ₹10,000 | ₹15,000 | — | ₹35,000 |

| Tigor | ₹15,000 | ₹10,000 | ₹15,000 | — | ₹30,000 |

| Safari Diesel | ₹10,000 | ₹25,000 | ₹35,000 | — | ₹45,000 |
| Sierra Diesel | — | — | ₹30,000 | ₹30,000 (Level Up or Loyalty) | ₹30,000 |
Two things stand out here. The Nexon Diesel gets zero straight cash discount this month — its entire ₹20,000 max offer comes from exchange, which only helps if you're trading in an old car. And the Sierra, Tata's newest launch, is barely discounted at all: ₹30,000 tops out via a single conditional bonus, and the scheme letter explicitly says you can only claim one of Level Up, Scrappage or Loyalty on it — not a stack. That's the clearest read on how new a model is: freshly launched cars get protected pricing, ageing ones get pushed.
What these offer types actually mean
- Consumer Offer / Cash Discount — straight off the on-road price, no conditions attached beyond buying within the scheme window.
- Freedom Offer — an extra flat discount layered on top of the cash discount, applicable on specific models/variants only (mostly Altroz, Nexon, Harrier EV, Tiago EV this month).
- Exchange Bonus — extra discount for trading in any old car (any brand) at the dealership. Either exchange or scrappage applies — never both on the same purchase.
- Scrappage Bonus — a higher bonus than exchange, but only if your old vehicle is formally deregistered and scrapped through a government-registered facility (RVSF) — Tata's own network is called RE.WI.RE. It needs a Certificate of Deposit, which takes a few extra steps versus a simple trade-in.
- Loyalty Bonus — for existing Tata owners (ICE or EV) upgrading to a new Tata, verified against your old vehicle's RC. One bonus per purchase, even if you're buying more than one car.
- Level Up Offer — a Nexon/Sierra-specific bonus for owners trading up from a defined list of rival models (Creta, Venue, Baleno, Swift Dzire, Swift) — not open to all brands.
The rule that trips most buyers up: you generally cannot combine more than two discount categories on one purchase, and several of the categories above (exchange vs. scrappage, and on the Sierra, Level Up vs. Scrappage vs. Loyalty) are mutually exclusive by design. The number that actually lands in your on-road price depends entirely on which one or two boxes you tick — not the full "max offer" figure in the table.
The SBI YONO top-up
If you register interest in a Tata car or SUV through the SBI YONO app or portal, there's an additional upfront discount layered on top of everything else — ₹3,000 on the Altroz, and ₹5,000 each on the Harrier and Safari. It applies whether or not you actually finance the car through SBI; you just need to have registered through YONO before completing the purchase.
How to actually use this when you walk into a showroom
- Ask the dealer to break down which specific categories your discount is coming from — cash, exchange, scrappage, or loyalty — rather than accepting a single lump number.
- If you have an old car to dispose of, ask for a scrappage quote as well as an exchange quote before deciding — scrappage pays more, but only through a registered facility and with the paperwork (RC, PAN, KYC, loan closure/NOC if any) sorted in advance.
- If you already own a Tata, carry the RC — loyalty bonus needs it for verification, and it must have been registered before your new purchase date.
- These are Week 1 numbers for August 2026 - Tata revises scheme letters through the month, so confirm the live figure with the dealer before booking.

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine all of Tata's August 2026 offers on one car?
No. The scheme letter caps most models at two discount categories per purchase, and some pairs — like exchange and scrappage, or on the Sierra, Level Up vs. Scrappage vs. Loyalty — are mutually exclusive by design. The "max offer" figure is a ceiling, not something every buyer will actually receive.
What's the difference between the exchange bonus and the scrappage bonus?
Exchange is a simple trade-in of your old car at the dealership. Scrappage pays more but requires formally deregistering and scrapping the old vehicle through a government-registered facility (an RVSF, such as Tata's own RE.WI.RE network), which generates a Certificate of Deposit needed to claim the bonus.
Do I need to buy the same Tata model I already own to get the loyalty bonus?
No. The loyalty bonus applies to any existing Tata ICE or EV owner upgrading to any new Tata model, verified against the RC of the old vehicle, which must have been registered before the new purchase date.
