One version: the GLC 400 4MATIC

India gets a single version, so there is no step up the range to weigh. The GLC 400 4MATIC is assembled at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Chakan, Pune. Here is what the international-spec car carries:

Treat these as a guide. The final specifications and certified range for the India-spec SUV are to be confirmed closer to launch, so the 715 km figure may change on Indian certification.

What is new inside

The cabin runs fourth-generation MBUX software with an AI-powered assistant. The headline feature is a 39.1-inch Hyperscreen across the dashboard.

On overseas cars the Hyperscreen is reported as an option rather than standard. Whether India-spec cars get it as standard is part of the specification Mercedes has yet to confirm, so check the final feature list before you commit.

Price, launch and deliveries

  • Bookings opened: October 5
  • Launch and final price: November 4
  • Deliveries: from mid-November
