Key takeaways
- The Aurum Edition is a Rs 22,990 accessory kit, not a new variant.
- It is offered only with the strong-hybrid Victoris.
- The kit adds copper and chrome styling, 3D mats and a trunk sill guard.
- The 116-horsepower hybrid powertrain is unchanged.
- First-year Victoris sales were a reported 1,47,602 units.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Victoris Aurum Edition at a kit price of Rs 22,990 to mark the SUV's first anniversary. The kit is offered only with the strong-hybrid versions, which have an EV mode. The launch was reported on October 24, 2026.
This is not a new variant. You pay Rs 22,990 for the kit on top of the price of the car you choose.
What the kit adds
The changes are cosmetic and cover the outside and the floor of the cabin. Aurum is the Latin word for gold, and copper-coloured trim is the theme.
- Copper-coloured inserts on the front, side and rear skid-plate designs
- Copper-coloured inserts on the wheel arches
- Chrome accessories on the front grille, fenders, bumpers, body-side mouldings and door visors
- All-weather 3D cabin mats
- A 3D boot mat
- A rear trunk sill guard
Nothing changes mechanically. The 116-horsepower hybrid powertrain is the same as on any other strong-hybrid Victoris.
Price and who it suits
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Aurum Edition kit price | Rs 22,990 |
| Available with | Strong-hybrid versions only |
| Powertrain | Unchanged 116-horsepower hybrid |
| Vehicle price | Charged separately from the kit |
The kit makes sense if you have already settled on a strong-hybrid Victoris and want the copper and chrome styling along with all-weather mats and a sill guard. It does nothing for performance or equipment, so pick your variant first and treat the kit as an add-on.
If you are looking at the petrol or other non-hybrid versions, the Aurum Edition is not offered on them. The car's own price is set by the variant, and you can see Victoris figures on the Maruti Suzuki Victoris on-road price page, or work out the total for any model with the on-road price calculator. IndiCar confirms the kit's availability on your chosen variant before you book.
A year of strong sales
Maruti Suzuki says the Victoris is the fastest passenger vehicle to reach both the 1 lakh and 1.5 lakh sales milestones, and that it recorded the highest first-year sales of any car in India. Company figures put first-year sales at a reported 1,47,602 units.
Actor Shahid Kapoor is the face of the Aurum Edition campaign.
