Terms & Conditions – New Car Test Drive Booking

By scheduling a test drive through IndiCar (“we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Test Drive Booking & Confirmation

• Test drives are facilitated by IndiCar in collaboration with authorized car dealerships.

• You may request a test drive at:

  • The authorized dealership location (during working hours).

  • Your doorstep (subject to dealership availability and serviceability of your address).

• All test drive requests are subject to availability, verification, and confirmation from the concerned dealership.

• Booking a test drive on the platform does not guarantee availability until confirmed by IndiCar or the dealership.

2. Customer Eligibility

• The individual booking the test drive must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Hold a valid Indian driving license (must be physically produced at the time of test drive).

  • Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substances.

• Test drives may be denied if the customer fails to meet any of the above conditions.

3. Doorstep Test Drive

• Doorstep test drives may be offered in select cities only.

• By opting for a doorstep test drive, you:

  • Agree to share a precise and accessible location for vehicle delivery.

  • Allow dealership representatives to verify ID and address proof, if required.

• IndiCar is not liable for any delays or cancellations caused due to traffic, unserviceable locations, or other logistical issues.

4. Vehicle Condition and Safety

• All test drive vehicles are the responsibility of the respective authorized dealership.

• IndiCar does not own, control, or maintain any of the vehicles offered for test drives.

• You are responsible for exercising due caution while test driving the vehicle. Any negligent damage may be chargeable by the dealership.

• All vehicles are insured by the respective dealers, but you may be held accountable in case of reckless driving or violation of traffic laws.

5. Cancellation or Rescheduling

• Either party (user, dealership, or IndiCar) may cancel or reschedule the test drive.

• We request you to notify cancellations or changes at least 4 hours in advance.

• Uninformed no-shows may lead to restrictions on future bookings.

6. Liability Disclaimer

• IndiCar is a facilitator only. We do not conduct the test drives ourselves and are not responsible for:

  • Any damages or disputes arising between the customer and dealership.

  • Any injury, loss, or incident during the test drive.

  • Any misleading representation made by dealership staff.

• All disputes regarding the vehicle, offers, or sales discussions must be addressed directly with the respective dealership.

7. Data Usage and Privacy

• By submitting your details, you consent to IndiCar sharing your contact and location information with the relevant dealership to coordinate the test drive.

8. Modifications

IndiCar reserves the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the test drive booking service at any time without notice.

• Update these terms and conditions periodically. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the latest version.
