🚀 Maruti Suzuki Mega Plan: 8 New SUVs & ₹70,000 Cr Investment to Recapture 50% Market Share by 2030

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker, has declared its most ambitious strategic offensive to date. Speaking at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, Suzuki Motor Corporation President Toshihiro Suzuki confirmed plans to launch eight new Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) in India over the next five to six years. This aggressive product pipeline is the core of their strategy to reclaim a 50% share of the Indian passenger vehicle market, which had dipped to around 39% due to the segment’s rapid shift towards SUVs.

To support this goal and cement India’s role as a global production hub, the company has committed a massive investment of ₹70,000 crore by FY 2030-31.

🎯 The Strategic Roadmap: 8 SUVs, Market Share, and Investment

Maruti Suzuki’s plan is holistic, addressing product gaps, electric mobility, and manufacturing scale.
